Here are some common questions and answers about the No Lock Solutions Universal Mobile Broadband Edition content lock package for USB Broadband Dongles

Q) If I buy your solution package will my credit card details be safe ?
A) Yes – all payments are handled by paypal so we never even see your credit card details. Paypal is a very well known and secure payment method, and you don’t need a paypal account to pay via paypal – just a credit card.

Q) What do I do if I don’t receive my download link ?
A) Don’t Panick !  Chances are that your download link email has been flagged as spam and blocked by either your email provider or your local system. Please check your spam / deleated bin to be sure it’s not there, but if not then just let us know via our contact page and we will send your link out to you manually.

Q) How many chances do I get to download my product ?
A) You get 2 chances to download, so if the download does not complete for some reason you can try again one more time. If your still experiencing problems just let us know via our contact page and we will do our best to help

Q) Am I breaking any laws by using this method ?
A) No – absolutely not ! We do not ‘hack’ anything, we do not compromise your mobile broadband provider’s server security in any way, in fact this method is not only completely legal – it isn’t even prohibited by the providers themselves.

Q) Can my mobile broadband provider tell that I’m circumventing their content lock ?
A) No – in fact they won’t be able to tell what your doing at all. They may be able to tell (should they care) that you are using an anonymous proxy, but that in it’s self is not against their rules.

Q) There’s an update for the software (OperaTor) available – should I upgrade ?
A) No – if you do so you will overwrite the modifications we have made to the software and render it less effective in circumventing the content lock. The version supplied works just fine – use it and be happy.

Q) Does the Content Lock Solution also remove/bypass the 2/3 gig bandwidth limit on pay as you go plans ?
A) No – although your mobile broadband provider won’t be able to tell the type and content of your browsing/downloading, they will still be able to tell how much of it you do. Currently there is no legal way to get round this.

Q) What are the system requirements ?
A) You need a computer running windows 2000/xp/vista/7 and a USB Broadband Dongle (any model) – other resources are so minimal as to be not worth mentioning.For the very best results OperaTor Universal Mobile Broadband Edition is most stable under windows 2000 / xp, however limited testing indicates that vista / windows 7 compatibility seems generally good.

Sorry but there is currently no version for mac or linux.

Q) Do I need administrator privilages to run OperaTor Universal Mobile Broadband Edition ?
A) No – any user can run it – even a guest !

Q) Can I install / run OperaTor Universal Mobile Broadband Edition on / from a USB pen drive or an external hard drive ?
A) Yes – OperaTor will run from just about any writable location !  However it will not run from a cdr because once burned the disc is no longer writable.

Q) Can I get the software on CD ?
A) No, for lots of reasons. Perhaps the best one is cost – duplicating cd’s, packaging them and posting them out would be time consuming and expensive. Of course there’s nothing to stop you burning it to a cdr yourself for archiving/safety.

Q) Can I re-distribute this package ?
A) No – for some very good reasons ! Although the software in it’s origonal form is free and open source, it has been modified and the modifications are not open source. MORE IMPORTANTLY – it’s in your own best interest not to distribute this package illegally. Look at it this way – putting it on a torrent site or similar could cause such widespread use that the mobile broadband providers may be forced to develop a method to couter it. Making this package (and knowledge) available for mass downloading could eventually kill it for you, for me and for everyone, so please don’t.

Q) Does OperaTor Universal Mobile Broadband Edition contain any spyware etc ?
A) No – absolutely not !!! No Spyware, no trojans, no viruses, no malware of any kind – guaranteed !

Q) Does the solution package work with any model of USB Broadband Dongle ?
A) Yes – the current version now works with all mobile broadband dongles.
